Living in Japan, I’m lucky enough to have world-class matcha everywhere I turn, but Tomo’s Saemidori has genuinely become one of my absolute favorites. The quality is immediately visible in that stunning, vibrant green color—it’s exactly what you want to see in a premium powder.
What sets it apart for me is the texture; it is incredibly velvety with a clean finish and zero harshness. I’ve been making my own strawberry matcha lattes using fresh, seasonal Japanese strawberries, and it’s a dangerously addicting combination.

Overall, it’s really good matcha if you like grassy taste with a pleasant umami, especially when prepared without milk. The green colour of the powder also looks very vibrant and appealing too!

Strong matcha flavour. More intense taste compare to other matcha in Malaysia. Colour is darker. Easy to make. Smooth when drink... With or without milk, is also enjoyable. Added a pinch of sugar when making, the aroma of matcha and taste is prominent.
